A variety of productions for a university assignment.
Each production was created in its own software environment as each production was an entirely different media form. For this assessment I worked on three productions in a different variety of roles for each production. I worked as Director/Producer for The Storm, Level Design and Player Controls for Safe Sharps Project and 2D Animation for Written on the Bathroom Stall. As the Director for the Storm it was my role to explore a large variety of styles, rendering capabilities and particle effects. Ultimately I used Maxwell Render for rendering, RealFlow for particle simulation and animation within Maya. Working on Safe Sharps Project was entirely based in Unreal Engine 4 where the production was design for Virtual Reality, I had to implement different player controllers to allow for player input as both a VR playthrough and a conventional mouse and keyboard input. Level Design was fairly simple as the level had to depict a large park with a realistic look. The work for Written on the Bathroom Stall was as producer and animator, this was a critical job in the production as I had to ensure every part of the production was on time. |
