hey guys,
good news, have finished off the clothing of my little boy! i have chosen green shorts, the shorts being because they invoke a more childlike appearance rather than pants and green because it is the complementary colour to orange ie the shirt but not as garish and contrasting as red-blue contrast is. the shoes i have created are black and white as they are unimportant and should be coloured as such, the are in the style of skate shoes which are very popular in the young children shoes as they can provide a snug fit with leaving extra room for growth. The ncoth is working very well, I have had to adjust a few setting to create the clothy look i was going for with the thick fabric used on the cloths. in addition, the constraint points holding the shorts and shirt on the body were a bit of concern as the topology of the clothing differed from the body making the placement of the constraints problematic, following Digital Tutors i used less component constraints which gave the clothing both better freedom of movement and held is shape better. video of ncloth test and body: http://youtu.be/NkfIRJiCD04 Comments are closed.
