Progress and updates on Projects that I am currently working on

Hey everyone, 

Here is the progress:
  • the cinematic sequences are all set up with their triggers that will start only once when player trips them so that the story will work,
  • added a lot of game play mechanics including crouching and sprinting which is found in most games, 
    added head bobble, remapped all keys so that I can implement a user selected key selection per action if I want to,
  • added a flashlight and flashlight IES for dark areas,
  • added highlighting objects around usableobjects,
  • imported grandparent characters with three LOD groups including LOD material instanced for better memory usage as I was breaking the streaming pool size before,
  • integrated blueprints for better casting when called and triggered, set dressed the house a little more, 
    missing quite a few small things but layout is final, outdoor laundry/toilet as was common in 1980 farmhouses is populated albiet with bad scaling,
  • particle effects added for the barn atmosphere,
  • day night cycle added for the sky,
  • and a butt tonne of other stuff I forgot to mention!

I will mainly be working on the research paper this weekend so I will be working at home where it is a bit better to write an essay.
